Interpretation Live respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect through the Site and in the course of an engagement, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. The Site
The Site sets no cookies and runs no advertising or analytics trackers. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, time, pages requested, browser type) for security and troubleshooting. The demo form opens a message in your own email program; nothing is stored on our server.
2. What you send us
When you contact us we receive what you choose to share, typically your name, organization, email, telephone and details of the session. Materials sent to prepare a session (agendas, slides, glossaries, names) are used only for that purpose and deleted or returned when the engagement ends, unless you ask us to keep a glossary for future sessions.
3. Session content
Speech during a session is processed live to produce the interpretation. We do not keep session audio. A transcript is produced only at your request, delivered to you and deleted on our side on the schedule agreed with you. We do not use the voices or content of your sessions for any other purpose. On request we will describe in writing, before you book, where and how session content is processed.
4. Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only as needed to deliver the service: with the interpreter assigned to your session, who is bound by confidentiality, with service providers that process data on our behalf under contract, and where the law requires.
5. Your rights
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or ask us to stop contacting you, by writing to hello@interpretationlive.com. Certain records, such as invoices, must be kept for the period the law requires.
6. Location and changes
We are located in the United States and information is processed here. We may update this policy; the current version is always on this page.
