Why not just use an app?
Because the gadgets and apps sold online send everything they hear, your voice included, to servers you know nothing about, where it can be stored, analyzed and sold on, and a voice signature, unlike a password, cannot be changed once it has been copied. And because they are only as good as the sound and the speaker: nobody is listening on your behalf when a term comes out wrong.
Interpretation Live is a service, not a gadget. Every session is prepared, tested and watched from start to finish by one of our interpreters, on our own setup, under a confidentiality agreement we are glad to sign before the first test call.

Honest about the limits
We come from thirty years of human interpreting, and we will tell you plainly when a human interpreter is the better choice: a deposition, a medical consultation, a negotiation where every nuance has a price, a speech where the speaker's wit is the point. Quite often the right answer is both: a human team for the plenary and AI interpretation for the twelve breakout rooms. Describe the event and you will get a straight answer.
